Our Scholarships
The Frederick (MD) Alumni Chapter is committed to operate for charitable and educational purposes:

To recognize academic achievement, of African-American students in middle and high schools in Frederick County Public Schools.

To fund educational scholarships to African American students in high schools in Frederick County Public Schools as wells as schools of higher learning (Undergraduate and Graduate)

To assist community groups and individuals in educational, civic improvement and charitable activities.

To accept and make donations of money, property, real or personal, to invest in real estate and personal property for educational and charitable purposes;

To enter into various activities and carry out contracts necessary for or incidental to the accomplishment of the non-profit purposes of the Chapter;

To promote the general welfare by providing services as necessary to the community to encourage and promote the development of its people
The Necktie Club
Mentoring Male High School Students
The club is a mentoring group, which encourages male students to dress professionally and prepares them for the professional world. At group meetings, students wear shirts and ties, practice public speaking and use Robert's Rules of Order.
